Shawna M. Sosnovich joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in 2007 and is a partner of the firm.  Shawna has had much experience in collections, debt recovery, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation.  Her practice includes banking recovery litigation, civil fraud litigation, receivership and insolvency matters, shareholder disputes, commercial landlord and tenant litigation, real estate litigation and general contract disputes.

Shawna’s clients include a broad range of corporations and institutions, including banks, lenders, title insurers, employers, commercial landlords, trustees in bankruptcy, receivers, commercial tenants and property managers.

Shawna has broad courtroom experience, having appeared in many Ontario courts, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court in Ontario and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Shawna has also acted at private mediations and has represented her clients before the Human Rights Tribunal and the Committee of Adjustments in Toronto.

Shawna earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, and a partner of the firm.
