Justin Cooper joined Devry Smith Frank LLP in 2019 as an associate in our Commercial Real Estate group in Toronto. He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and earned his LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. He was called to the bar in 2009.
As a commercial real estate lawyer, Justin provides sound and experienced advice with respect to the acquisition, financing, disposition, and leasing of commercial and investment properties. He has extensive experience in all aspects of a residential and non-residential condominium development. He also assists his clients with various development matters, including Committee of Adjustment applications, Land Titles applications, land assemblies, development agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and the registration of subdivision plans.
Justin prides himself on his practical, common sense approach, dealing with matters and resolving disputes in the most efficient, economical way possible. He recognizes that his clients want timely responses to their questions, regular updates, and practical, clear advice. He values the personal relationships he has with his clients, whether they are individuals or large institutions.
Justin is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
