Toronto lawyer and fraud litigator Lawrence Hansen joined the firm in 2005 after having spent a year studying Spanish and living in South America and Mexico. Lawrence has worked exclusively in litigation since his call to the bar in Ontario in 1998 and has represented clients in respect to a broad range of insurance-related and other matters, including personal-injury actions as well as cases involving arson, products liability, property insurance claims, coverage disputes and subrogation. Lawrence has also acted in cases involving fraud, including fraudulent real estate matters such as title fraud.
A graduate of the National Programme at McGill University’s Faculty of Law, Lawrence earned both a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) in 1995 and started his career at a leading firm of civil litigators in Montreal before relocating to Toronto in 1998.
