As a commercial litigator, Yonatan has a broad understanding of corporate governance and fiduciary duties, he has demonstrated expertise in handling complex shareholder disputes and advising various corporate stakeholders as to their legal rights and obligations.
In real estate, Yonatan has represented individuals and companies in disputes spanning property ownership, lease agreements, construction defects, delay claims, construction liens, title defects, mortgage fraud, and professional liability claims. His practice extends to employment law, where he handles cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, and breach of contract.
Yonatan joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (‘DSF’) in 2024 as an associate lawyer in our commercial litigation department. He received his B.A. from York University before earning his J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2018. He was called to the Bar in 2019.
Yonatan has appeared before the Divisional Court, Superior Court, Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board and License Appeal Tribunal. Yonatan takes a client-focused approach to litigation, prioritizing effective communication, and tailored strategies that align with the unique goals and needs of each client.
