B.SC., J.D
Tim is a practicing Real Estate lawyer for close to 40 years, primarily in the area of residential purchase and sales, and mortgage refinancing.
Realizing that the purchase of a home is probably the single largest investment most people will ever make, Tim takes the time to meet with the clients personally and carefully reviews how the process works and what the real estate lawyer and the client each need to do to ensure a successful closing of the transaction.
Tim also has acted for clients with respect to commercial real estate transactions whether it is with respect to the acquisition or sale of a larger commercial buildings or the negotiation of a commercial lease.
As a resident of Don Mills for over 35 years, Tim is very familiar with the real estate market in this area of Toronto, and continues to be amazed at its growth.
Tim graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1973. For the three summers during his attendance at law school Tim worked for (what was then) McClintock, Devry & Pierce, a forerunner of Devry Smith Frank LLP (DSF). He spent a large part of these summers in the Registry Offices across Ontario, searching titles and acquiring a thorough knowledge of the basis of the practice of Real Estate Law. Following his call to the bar, Tim worked for the firm for 13 years.
Tim opened his own firm in 1986 where he continued acting in all types of real estate transactions.
