Amy obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trent University in 2014 and she completed her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law in 2017. Amy was called to the bar in 2018.
During her time at Queen’s University, she was the Queen’s Coordinator of Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project. She also earned a Certificate in Public International Law from the Bader International Study Centre.
Prior to joining DSF, Amy gained extensive experience in separation and divorce law as an associate lawyer at a law firm in Bruce County, Ontario. She understands the rights of her clients, as well as the obligation and options under Ontario family law.
With her training and experience in family law, Amy is committed to helping her clients avoid conflicts or extensive court battles and reach solutions with a balanced effort that are mutually beneficial for all parties involved.
Outside the office, Amy stays active by going for long runs and practicing yoga.
