Christopher Statham is an appellate lawyer whose practice focuses on construction law and commercial litigation. He represents clients before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Divisional Court, providing strategic advice and advocacy at all stages of the appeal process.
Christopher has experience handling appeals involving contractual interpretation, property rights, and tribunal decisions. His appellate work includes matters concerning the interpretation of commercial agreements, rights of first refusal, and issues arising from administrative decision-making. He has acted in cases where courts have considered the scope of contractual obligations, the rights of non-parties, and the appropriate timing of appellate intervention in tribunal proceedings.
Christopher is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Hons. B.A. & M.A.) and the University of New Brunswick (LL.B). He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2011 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
