Our Newest Lawyers at Devry Smith Frank LLP
We’re pleased to welcome Ross Hurd to Devry Smith Frank LLP. Ross is an experienced corporate and commercial, real estate, and wills and estates lawyer based in our Barrie and Collingwood offices. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1987, he brings decades of experience advising clients on corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and sales, shareholder agreements, commercial real estate transactions, financing matters, and estate planning. Before joining DSF, Ross was a partner at a large law firm for more than 19 years, where he built longstanding relationships with clients and provided practical legal advice across a broad range of matters. We’re glad to have him join the firm.
We’re pleased to welcome Adriana Piccolo as an associate in our corporate law department. Adriana advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including incorporations, corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, commercial agreements, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general business transactions. She earned her Juris Doctor from Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026. Adriana is committed to providing straightforward, strategic advice that helps clients navigate their legal matters with clarity and confidence. We’re glad to have her join the firm.
We’re pleased to welcome Jessica Santucci as an associate in our family law department. Jessica advises clients on a wide range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, domestic contracts, and separation agreements. She earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. Jessica is committed to helping clients find practical solutions while providing strong advocacy when litigation is required. We’re glad to have her join the firm.
We’re pleased to welcome Jason Corry as an associate in our collections and mortgage recovery and commercial litigation departments. Jason continues with DSF after completing both his summer and articling terms with the firm. His practice focuses on mortgage enforcement, debt recovery, and commercial disputes, including power of sale proceedings and creditor remedies. Jason earned his B.S.M. (Honours) from Brock University, his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026. We’re glad to have him continue his career with the firm.
We’re pleased to welcome Mariem Naem as an associate in our commercial litigation department. Mariem continues with DSF after completing her articles with the firm and acts for individuals and businesses in a range of commercial disputes. She is involved in files from the early assessment of a claim through documentary production, examinations, motions, and other court proceedings. Mariem graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto, earned her J.D. from the University of Windsor, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2026. We’re glad to have her continue her career with the firm.
