About
Ross Hurd is an experienced corporate and commercial, real estate, and wills and estates lawyer based in Devry Smith Frank LLP‘s Barrie office. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1987, he brings decades of legal experience to his practice.
Ross advises clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including incorporations, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and sales, and shareholder agreements. His real estate practice includes commercial acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and commercial financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers. He also assists individuals and families with wills and estate planning matters.
Before joining DSF, Ross was a partner at a large law firm for more than 19 years, providing clients with trusted legal advice and building lasting professional relationships.
Ross has served on several volunteer boards and is currently a director of Community Futures South Georgian Bay. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, cycling and golfing in the Blue Mountains.
