Ross Hurd is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer who advises business owners, entrepreneurs and organizations at every stage of the business lifecycle. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1987, he brings decades of experience and a practical, business-focused approach to each matter.
His practice includes incorporations, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of businesses, shareholder agreements and other commercial transactions. Ross works closely with clients to structure transactions, manage risk and develop legal solutions that support their immediate needs and long-term objectives.
Prior to joining DSF, Ross spent over 19 years as a partner at a large law firm, earning clients’ confidence through practical advice and dedicated service.
Ross has served on several volunteer boards and is currently a director of Community Futures South Georgian Bay.
