Elisabeth Colson the head of the Corporate Commercial Department at Devry Smith Frank LLP. Fluently bilingual in English and in French, Elisabeth received her honors B.A. in Political Science from McGill University, and received her law degree in 1989. She is a member of the Ontario and Quebec bars and has held both private practice and in-house positions in Canada and abroad.

Prior to joining Devry Smith Frank LLP, Elisabeth held the position of Vice-President, Legal Affairs for an international franchisor. She regularly advises in the areas of franchise law, licensing and distribution.  She has assisted franchisors and franchisees in all stages of the franchise process.

Elisabeth is Co-Chair of the Professional Advisory Committee of Baycrest; is on the Board of Directors of Alpaca Ontario; is a member of the One Life Gala Committee in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation; and is on the Advisory Board of Hercules Dynamics Inc.
