Farrah Barmak Farrah Barmak joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (“DSF”) as a paralegal in 2025 with more than two decades of experience in collections, receivables, and legal administrative services. Her diverse legal background spans civil litigation, Small Claims Court matters, Provincial Offences, Landlord and Tenant disputes, and Human Rights issues, alongside intermediate experience in personal injury and family law. Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario and a graduate of CDI College’s Paralegal Program with honours, Farrah has built a successful independent legal practice, delivering contract-based paralegal services since 2019. Her focus has included litigation support, legal collections, account reconciliation, and skip tracing. Prior to joining DSF, she held key roles at various law firms and corporate environments, consistently contributing to legal operations through drafting, file management, court attendances, and client relations. Farrah is a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association and remains committed to ongoing legal education and professional development. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong initiative, technical proficiency, and adaptability across legal, administrative, and client service roles. Wendy Cornacchia Wendy joined Devry Smith Frank LLP as a senior paralegal with over 25 years of experience advocating for the injured whether it be through her daily interactions with insurance adjusters, defence counsel, mediators, arbitrators, or by attendances at FSCO and the Social Services Tribunal. A graduate of the Law Clerk program at Humber College and a Licensed Paralegal since 2008, Wendy has continued her education by taking various courses offered by the Institute of Law Clerks, University of Toronto, The Advocates Society, Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) and The Medical-Legal Society. She has most recently completed the Osgoode Hall Law School Professional Development Certificate Program, “Handling Provincial Offences Court, Small Claims Court & Landlord, and Tenant Board Matters”. Wendy has also been a presenter at OTLA, The Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Chronic Pain Program and she has contributed to in-house newsletters. Nikki Alteen Nikki joined Devry Smith Frank (DSF) LLP in 2013 as a Paralegal. She brings over fifteen years of experience in debt collections and unsecured debt recovery and three years of experience in commercial litigation and small claims court. Nikki Alteen graduated with honours from the Paralegal Studies program at Algonquin Careers Academy in 2010 and obtained her Paralegal License through the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2014.
