Roman Baber joins Devry Smith Frank LLP as part-time Counsel, bringing more than 12 years of Civil Litigation experience, along with a unique perspective gained through public service.
Before public service, Roman practiced civil litigation, primarily in commercial and insurance-related matters. His background affords him with practical understanding of legal, business and personal considerations affecting companies and individuals.
Roman has a keen interest in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. In 2026, he completed an intensive mediation course offered in association with Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law.
Roman earned a B.A. from York University, an LL.B. from Western University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.
