Collections and mortgage recovery lawyer Graeme Oddy regularly handles the collections of debts owed to a range of small and large businesses, including large financial institutions. He has experience working with individuals or businesses to resolve matters, whether there are a series of small debts at issue, or major restructuring costs to contend with.

Graeme can assist with the recovery of any size and type of debt, including:

Graeme has represented clients in proceedings before the Ontario Small Claims Court, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Court of Appeal, and various administrative tribunals. He takes a pragmatic approach to litigation and believes in resolving disputes in the most efficient, timely, and cost-effective manner possible.

Graeme Oddy joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (‘DSF’) as an associate lawyer in 2022 in our commercial litigation department. He holds a B.A. (Hons) and a J.D. from the University of Toronto. He was called to the Bar in 2018.

Prior to joining DSF, he articled for a boutique multi-national law firm in Toronto and then became a sole practitioner offering a broad range of services to both individuals and businesses in litigation, corporate/commercial law, tax planning, real estate and more.

Outside work, he is an avid sportsman with interests in basketball, tennis, skiing and hiking. He also founded the University of Toronto Rubik’s Cube club in 2013.
