Corrine V. Joseph joined Devry Smith Frank LLP (DSF) in 2021 as an associate lawyer in our real estate department. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. specialized in Communications from the University of Ottawa and earned her JD from the same University thereafter. She was called to the Bar in 2017.
Prior to joining DSF, Corrine worked as a sole practitioner at a boutique law firm in Toronto managing a high volume of real estate transactions ranging from real estate purchases, sales, and mortgages. She was also involved in building and maintaining healthy relationships with real estate agents and mortgage brokers across the GTA and the National Capital Region.
As a real estate lawyer, Corrine regularly drafts, reviews and negotiates a wide range of real estate-related agreements and documents on behalf of purchasers, vendors, lenders, and borrowers, including agreements of purchase and sale, and loan and security documents. With a client-centred approach and the ability to anticipate issues before they arise, Corrine is a reference point to clients who rely on her for timely advice and the smooth carriage of their files.
In her free time Corrine is an avid traveller and a film enthusiast. She is also a polyglot fluent in English, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish and Portuguese.
Corrine is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
